Gwyneth Moss Bragdon is an Actress, Movement Artist, Teacher, and Experiential Anatomy Practitioner. She has performed leading roles throughout the Northwest United States in productions such as Macbeth directed by Peter Anthony, Hair, and Rashomon. She has choreographed and performed works internationally for the Canadian Fringe Festival. Gwyneth has taught dance at the University level through pre-school, and particularly finds working with “non-dancers” rewarding. She leads workshops in Creative Movement and Experiential Anatomy facilitating sacred space for personal discovery. She is honored to be an Associate Artist with Gateway Performance Productions/The MASK Center where she has most recently choreographed and performed as Hypatia of Alexandria in Re-Remembering Hypatia.She is currently developing the new works The Black Demeter, and Amazon Dances with Allen Pittman and Gateway Performance Productions/The MASK Center.
Gwyneth announced herself as a dancer and choreographer as soon as she realized she could control her movement. She began her formal study at the age of 5 years, and has trained with Carol Sumner, New York City Ballet; Katherine Anderson, Boston Ballet; Cliff Keuter, Paul Taylor Company; Judy Rice, Joffrey Ballet; Robin Wilson, Urban Bush Women and Sandra Torijiano, National Dance Company of Costa Rica. Gwyneth has a Bachelor of Dance Arts with a minor in Dance and Music Ethnology from the University of Michigan. She was part of a University of Michigan Transpersonal Psychology research ‘Think Tank’ a group of professors, psychologists, social workers, and artists working in collaboration with Ken Wilber. She is involved in community organization and facilitation and is a trained and an award winning Community Facilitator through the Neighborhood Foundation for Atlanta, United Way. She is also the mother of four children.
