The interest of two city dweller's in America's diminishing honeybee population has turned into a desire to become urban beekeepers. This is our story.
Gateway's The Bee Project focuses on the current worldwide plight of the honeybee. The website, designed and maintained by Karen Simmons, offers videos and other information sources. Honeybee related performances and residencies that have been presented at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, schools and other community venues are also available.
